A revenue generating tool unlike any other in college athletics, the Bulldog Venture Studio will serve as a catalyst to stimulate, and incubate, innovation on campus that will benefit the athletic department.
By merging the strengths of a venture studio model with the mission and reach of the Louisiana Tech Foundation, this approach combines the benefits of traditional venture capital with hands-on company building giving donors direct access to innovative technologies developed right here on campus.
Unlike traditional VC or incubator models, the venture studio actively ideates, builds, and scales multiple startups by providing not only capital, but shared resources, operational expertise, and a deep network ensuring ideas move from campus innovation to real-world impact.

The Bulldog Venture Studio -Examples of IP that have already been sourced by the athletic department, and staged in a demo environment, to begin recruiting entrepreneurs and incubating spinoff companies include:

How to Support in the Bulldog Venture Studio:
- Make a gift to the Bulldog Venture Studio Fund through the Louisiana Tech Foundation. Gift amounts may be discussed directly with any of our gift officers. Your gift will be allocated to the LTAC Unrestricted Fund;
- Gifts will help the Louisiana Tech Sports Performance Institute source, stage and develop IP to be licensed;
- Your participation in the Bulldog Venture Studio Fund will get you early access to keep track of the exciting innovation taking place on campus;
- Once a spinoff licenses our IP, you have the option to invest in, and seed, that entity. Investment details are agreed upon directly with the spinoff and your equity may also be directed as a donation to the athletic department;
- Gifts to the Bulldog Venture Studio Fund will count towards lifetime giving, annual giving and will earn you priority points as well as satisfy your LTAC annual contribution to be eligible for LTAC benefits such as parking and seat licenses.
