Welcome to the Human Performance Laboratories
The Applied Physiology Laboratory (APL), Minds in Motion laboratory (MiML), Strength Lab & Weight Room, and Sport & Movement Science Laboratory (SMSL), are Four research and teaching laboratory spaces within the Department of Kinesiology at Louisiana Tech University. These four laboratories are collectively known as Human Performance Laboratories (HPL). The purpose of these laboratories is to educate and investigate factors contributing to improvements in human performance across the lifespan and a reduction in injury rates during training, competition, and activities of daily living.

Applied Physiology Lab
The Applied Physiology lab is another research and teaching space within the department of Kinesiology at Louisiana Tech University.

Minds in Motion Lab
The Minds in Motion Lab works to understand how sports & physical activity can enhance youth experiences through research, teaching, and engaging the community.

Sport and Movement Science Lab
The Sport & Movement Science Laboratory is a new, approximately 2000 sq. ft. research and teaching space within the Department of Kinesiology at Louisiana Tech University.
The Sports Tech & Research Hub of Louisiana
The Louisiana Tech Sports Performance Institute was founded to serve the greater Louisiana Sports Community with the dissemination of best practices, research & innovation and access to institutional experts and population groups.
